Celtic can send theRangers supporting Falkirk side home with their tales firmly between their legs.

Tonight sees us pit our wits against Falkirk as we bid to end a two game domestic losing streak, whilst still reeling from the departure of Brendan Rodgers, and the fall out that has ultimately followed.

However life goes on and we must look forward, starting with the home clash against the Bairns this evening.

John McGlynn has his side well drilled and set up, so we know it’s going to be a tough game, even more so with the ever growing pressure on our players, and the new management duo of Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney.

But now is the time for all concerned to step up and put some fight back into our title defence plus giving us a much needed boost heading into Sunday’s Premier League Sports Cup semi final clash at Hampden Park against theRangers, and what better way to do that with a stylish performance and result under the Paradise lights, against a side in blue, that’s full of blue-nones!

Ok, it’s only the blue and red and white of Falkirk, but after John McGlynn’s astonishing pre match words a couple of weeks ago regarding his players, it will be as equally as pleasurable to send the bairns packing with their tails firmly between their legs.

Former Celtic coach McGlynn dropped a major clanger before his side took on theRangers, by revealing that the majority of his side are rampant Ibrox supporters, with some even attending European games.

I’m sure the players in question will be trying their hardest to give their own side, and their favourite team a big boost. Time to send them home disappointed.

Martin O’Neill has picked a strong Celtic team, well as strong as he possibly can, and we can expect a Celtic side with attacking intent and on the front foot from the first whistle.
