Real Madrid
Major blow for Real Madrid just days before hosting AS Monaco in the Champions League.
After suffering a knee injury, Kylian Mbappé returned to team training this Thursday. However, the Real Madrid forward, who featured in the Spanish Super Cup final lost against Barça (3-2), is now expected to take no further risks.
According to the latest reports from L’Equipe, the Merengues’ top scorer is set to miss the match against Levante this Saturday in La Liga. The Frenchman could also be sidelined for the clash with Monaco next Tuesday in the Champions League.
According to the same source, Arbeloa will be closely monitoring Mbappé’s fitness in order to potentially start him against his boyhood club.
