UEFA has just unveiled the Team of the Week for the opening round of the Champions League group stage. Senegalese star Youssoupha Mbodji has earned his place among the best performers.

The first matchday of the Champions League delivered its verdict this week. On Friday, UEFA announced its traditional Team of the Week, spotlighting the eleven standout players. Among them, of course, is Senegal's Youssoupha Mbodji. Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) and Marcus Thuram (Inter Milan), both of whom netted braces, also feature in the lineup. The Barcelona player was even named the best player of this Champions League matchday.
