The Blues weren't trailing for long as Sam Kerr equalised after 20 minutes and Lauren James scored twice to seemingly put Chelsea in control.

However, to cap an end-to-end first half full of goalmouth action, Villa managed to get back on level terms.

Kirsty Hanson was the Villans hero, scoring twice in just four minutes to make it 3-3 at the break.
