Rodrygo is one of the players who could leave Real Madrid this summer. Despite being under contract until 2028, the Brazilian forward’s situation at the club suggests he is closer to departing than staying.

Rodrygo experienced a very inconsistent season, with his lowest moment coming during the Copa del Rey final, where he only played the first half before disappearing from the squad.

That moment sparked speculation about a possible exit from Real Madrid, although he chose to stay and wait for the arrival of Xabi Alonso. But things have not exactly improved under the Basque coach.

Chelsea, Arsenal keen

As such, Mundo Deportivo reports that clubs from the Premier League are closely monitoring developments with Rodrygo at Real Madrid.

Manchester City have always maintained an interest, with Pep Guardiola being a fan of the player. However, Chelsea and Arsenal are currently the most actively interested parties – especially Arteta’s Gunners.

Soon after Alonso took over, it initially seemed there would be no “Rodrygo case.” The 24-year-old started in the first match of the FIFA Club World Cup but was substituted in the second half and has barely played in the three matches since.

In fact, he only featured for a few minutes against Salzburg and did not even warm up against Pachuca or Juventus, putting English clubs on high alert.

In fact, there is already speculation that Arsenal could be willing to sign Rodrygo for more than €80 million.

Rodrygo has repeatedly stated that he does not intend to leave Real Madrid, but the current situation could change the outlook on his future.

Real Madrid, for their part, are not concerned by the matter. The Merengues are aware of the circumstances, but as of now, no official offer has been received for the player.
