Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior has provided an update on his squad ahead of facing Crystal Palace this weekend.
Cole Palmer has returned to training after missing the midweek win over Pafos. Palmer sat out the Champions League clash with the Cypriot champions as a pre-caution, but is back and ready to face Crystal Palace on Sunday.
A sickness bug has also impacted Chelsea’s preparations, but Rosenior said those impacted are recovering well.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Rosenior said: “In terms of sickness, the players are gradually coming back to full health.
“We had to be very careful with that. Estevao was very ill, Jamie Gittens was very ill. I have had to alter plans but thankfully the lads have come through that, Enzo [Fernandez] as well.
“Cole [Palmer] is in a good place, he joined training today which is really positive. Jorgensen had his scan and it was more positive than we thought. He won’t be available for Palace but could be for Napoli.”
