Chelsea considering Strasbourg loan for Mykhailo Mudryk | OneFootball

Chelsea are leaning towards loaning Ukrainian international winger Mykhailo Mudryk (25) to BlueCo-owned Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg, according to a report from Foot Mercato. The 25-year-old has been cleared as available to play with immediate effect after resolving a doping case with the FA. Mudryk returned an “adverse finding” for meldonium and was provisionally suspended since November 2024.

Given the length of his suspension and that Chelsea were not planning to rely on him for the short-term, the Blues are considering their options regarding Mudryk. The latter signed an 8-year deal with the London-based Premier League club in a mammoth €100m deal from Shakhtar. Foot Mercato reports that, if a loan move to a Premier League side was initially rumoured, to get Mudryk back up to speed, a loan move to Strasbourg is reportedly Chelsea’s wish.
