Garnacho hasn’t been a regular starter under new manager Ruben Amorim. He has eight goals and five assists to his name in 32 games this season so far. He is averaging 2.4 shots, 1.1 key passes, and 0.6 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The Argentine attacker is versatile to play at different positions in the attacking line. He has decent pace, dribbling skills, and a strong finishing sense. He works hard off the ball and is expected to get better and better with time.
Alejandro Garnacho’s game time has reduced since Ruben Amorim came to the helm of affairs. Moreover, the emergence of Amad Diallo has left few opportunities for the Argentine. Hence, Manchester United are open to listening to offers for the attacker.
Sensing a chance, Chelsea recently made contact with the player and his club. The Blues brought Jadon Sancho from United in the summer, which has worked for them so far. Hence, they are planning a repeat a similar sort of deal.
However, Chelsea aren’t still sure whether they should spend money on a winger at this moment or go after a striker. The inconsistency of Nicolas Jackson is a big concern for Enzo Maresca’s side and they need to decide wisely. At the time of writing this piece, Napoli has already made an offer of around €50m for the 20-year-old.
