Roma have been looking to sign Chelsea’s Alejandro Garnacho and finally bring the Argentine to the Serie A. A move looks complex but initial movements are taking shape.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that the Italian side are working to make attacking signings, with Diego Moreira also a target.
For Garnacho, they are waiting for Chelsea to open up to the possibility of an initial loan with an option to buy. This formula worked quite well for Donyell Malen and they hope it also works out for the Argentine.
Chelsea would like to cash in on a permanent transfer, but have yet to receive a concrete offer of €50 million for the Argentine. That is also the attacker’s price tag and should hand the Blues acapital gain.
The next few hours could bring a turning point to the negotiations, based on the offer proposed by the Giallorossi. Garnacho, on his part, is interested in moving to Roma and Paulo Dybala’s presence can hold the key to the move.
Garnacho needs a move that develops him and takes him to another level. Gian Piero Gasperini’s system has done that for many players and the ex-Manchester United’s skillset suits what the Italian demands. That is exactly why Garnacho should consider pushing for the deal.
