Chelsea hoping to lure Bunny Shaw away from Man City

Chelsea are looking to make the statement signing of Khadija Shaw this summer with the striker's contract expiring at the end of the season.

Manchester City goal machine Bunny Shaw is currently top of the WSL scoring charts this season having netted 15 goals in just 16 league appearances for the Citizens, who look likely to end Chelsea's grip on the top flight this year.

However, Shaw could then swap Manchester for London according to journalist Kit Shepard of The Times who states that Sonia Bompastor's side are 'eyeing' a move for the 29-year-old.

The striker has yet to commit to City, raising concerns that the Jamaican is looking at moving on this summer.

Shaw first joined City from Bordeaux in June of 2021 and has since scored over a 100 goals for the club in all competitions.
