Chelsea Legends face Liverpool Legends in the annual charity match this weekend.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have confirmed all funds raised will go towards supporting the vital work of the LFC Foundation.

This marks the second legends match between the two sides this year following on from the fixture in March which marked the 20th anniversary of an intense rivalry between Liverpool and Chelsea.

The Reds claimed victory at Anfield thanks to a second half brace from Peter Crouch.

Roberto Di Matteo will lead the Chelsea Legends against the Liverpool Legends managed by the quartet of Ian Rush, John Aldridge, Phil Thompson and Sammy Lee with both teams featuring players who were very much involved in historic battles between the two sides.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Liverpool Legends vs Chelsea Legends is scheduled for a 3pm BST kick-off Saturday, October 11, 2025.

The match will take place at Stamford Bridge, west London.

TV channel: In the UK, the game will not be televised live.

Live stream: Fans can catch the contest live online via Chelsea’s official website as well as the Official Chelsea App. LFCTV members will be able to watch the fixture as part of their subscription.

Chelsea Legends vs Liverpool Legends team news

Both squads are still being finalised but some big names have been announced on each side.

John Terry, Eden Hazard, Gianfranco Zola, Diego Costa, Eidur Gudjohnsen, John Mikel Obi, Marcel Desailly, Gemma Davison and Carlo Cudicini are among the list of legends who will be representing Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Pepe Reina, Stephane Henchoz, Natasha Dowie, Robbie Keane, Ryan Babel and Yossi Benayoun are set to feature for the Reds.
