And it’s good news for those of you who want to see more new arrivals coming to Stamford Bridge this summer ahead of the brand new season starting soon.

The news comes as Chelsea also look to press ahead with completing the deal to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig as well this window after agreeing to sell Joao Felix to Al Nassr.

But this story we are talking about Jorrel Hato from Ajax, after fresh reports came out on this one via Sky Sports yesterday morning.

And it is Hato we are talking about again for this story, as well as Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig who Chelsea are trying to sign this week as well.

The transfer reporter posted on his X account this morning:

“Chelsea mantain total confidence to sign both Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons.

“Negotiations continue this week with Ajax after total agreement with Hato last week, deal close.

“Xavi Simons wants Chelsea and talks with RB Leipzig on the fee/structure of the deal are ongoing.”

Promising developments

This sounds very promising right now as the move progresses forward for two top Dutch players to hopefully join Chelsea’s exciting new squad who are already World Champions!

Hato will bring great competition for Marc Cucurella at left back, and Simons will add that maverick type player in the attacking midfield areas to help Cole Palmer with the goal involvements.
