Chelsea midfielder Nüsken signs new deal | OneFootball

Chelsea midfielder Sjoeke Nüsken has signed a new contract with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blues this afternoon.

It has been reported that the 24-year-old German international midfielder has agreed to remain with the South West Londoners for an additional year, extending her current deal until summer 2027.

Nüsken joined Chelsea from German Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt in summer 2023. The player quickly established herself as a regular in the Chelsea side. She has made more than 70 appearances for The Blues in all competitions while Nüsken has won back-to-back Barclays Women’s Super League titles, along with the Adobe Women’s FA Cup and Subway Women’s League Cup with the club.

After opting to extend her contract with Chelsea, Nüsken said “I’m very happy to have another year at Chelsea, to stay another year with my team. We have a big year coming up, and hopefully, we can achieve the Champions League title. We want to achieve a lot of things together.”

Nüsken has helped Chelsea make a strong start to the new season. The Blues have won four and drawn one of their opening five matches in this season’s Barclays Women’s Super League.
