One Chelsea player is now favouring a move to Newcastle United this window but it doesn’t sound straightforward.

The Blues have a number of transfer situations that they still need to sort out and are looking into in these last few weeks of the transfer window this summer.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea offered chance to sign Premier League centre back and it’s not Marc Guehi!

One situation is whether they are going to sign a new centre back to replace the injured Levi Colwill or whether they have to just stick with what they’ve got. Fabrizio Romano put out what he knows on that this morning.

Apparently though, there has been reports suggesting that Enzo Maresca will only be given a new centre back if they sell current defender Trevoh Chalobah, which I guess could still happen.

So we will have to see what happens with that situation, but there is a situation brewing at the other end of the pitch as well, with Nicolas Jackson now widely expected to be leaving the club before the window closes.

But where will he go?

Jackson doesn’t seem to have loads of options and doesn’t appear to be advanced in any move away from Chelsea. So where will he end up?

Newcastle are the most linked club at the moment and it seems like they still want to sign a new striker.

The Telegraph are reporting that Nicolas Jackson favours a move to Newcastle should he leave Chelsea during this transfer window.

However the forward’s chances of securing the transfer largely appear dependent on whether Newcastle relent and sell Alexander Isak to Liverpool.

Doesn’t sound convincing

If they have to sell Isak first then it doesn’t sound to me like this Jackson to Newcastle move has a lot of chances of happening.

Let’s see I guess, but you’d expect to hear something solid on movements this week now if this is to go ahead.
