Blues’ winless run extends to three games
Chelsea have just one win in seven league games after they squandered another lead at home to draw 2-2 with Bournemouth.
All the goals at Stamford Bridge came in the first 27 minutes of a frantic affair.
Antoine Semenyo is just days away from completing a move to Manchester City and it was his long throws that caused havoc and provided Bournemouth goals for David Brooks and Justin Kluivert, those goals bookending strikes by Cole Palmer from the penalty spot, and then Enzo Fernandez.
A bitty second-half left the home crowd disappointed that Chelsea could not muster a winner.

Robert Sanchez 6
Made one good save in the first half but will have been disappointed to concede twice.
Josh Acheampong 5
Made some smart decisions but was the fall guy of a frustrating first half as he was taken off at half-time.
Made a critical error as he knocked the ball on for Bournemouth’s second goal. Otherwise OK.
Wesley Fofana 7
In a game which was often fraught and error-prone, the Frenchman was solid at the back and composed on the ball.
Malo Gusto 5
Had a difficult first half but grew into the contest, switching flanks from left-back to right, and then back again.

Enzo Fernandez 7
Up for the fight, increasingly going full-strength into tackles after Moises Caicedo picked up an early yellow card. Scored a fantastic goal to put Chelsea into the lead at 2-1.
Moises Caicedo 6
Picked up an early yellow card that sees him suspended for Sunday’s crucial contest at Manchester City. Did have a big impact defensively after that, though.
Came close with a header in the first half and a low, driven effort in the second. Inspired Chelsea’s late hunt for a winner with some dazzling runs. Won the penalty.
Cole Palmer 6
Scored from the penalty spot to level the game up. Some nice twists and turns, as usual. Brought off after 63 minutes, presumably to save him for facing his former team on Sunday.

Alejandro Garnacho 5
Quite quiet overall and only played the first half, but assisted Fernandez’s goal with a tidy dribble and lay-off.
Liam Delap 5
Did a decent job at holding the ball up but was anonymous again for long periods.
Subs:
Reece James (Acheampong, 46’) 6
Came on to sure up defence and did that, though was not as influential as he often is.
Pedro Neto (Garnacho, 46’) 6
The same could be said for Neto, even though he was clearly intent on being the man to secure Chelsea their winner.
Joao Pedro (Palmer, 63’) 5
Operated in the No10 role as he replaced Palmer and Delap stayed on. One half-chance. Then at the end he played up front.
Andrey Santos (Delap, 87’) N/A
Jamie Gittens (Estevao, 90+2’) N/A
Not used: Jorgensen, Tosin, Badiashile, Buonanotte
