There’s one Chelsea player who is apparently getting ‘very excited’ to join Barcelona this summer should an opportunity arise.
This is a story that Chelsea fans will already be getting sick of because we hear something different about it every day, and it’s clear that this rumour has a bit of substance to it, unfortunately.

To me, it’s clear that Joao Pedro would jump at the chance to join Barcelona from Chelsea this summer. Because I mean, most players especially Brazilians, will always dream of playing for Barcelona. Them and Real Madrid are always the two clubs that every big player seems to have a real dream of playing for.
So when clubs like that come circling around a player, they are often going to have their head turned. And that is what seems to have happened with Pedro right now.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, Joao Pedro will be very excited to join Barcelona should an opportunity arise.
However, the sticking point is that he remains Plan B to Julian Alvarez for Barça right now. So he might not even get the chance to go to the Catalan side anyway, at least not this summer.
Chelsea have seemingly given the keys to their operation to Xabi Alonso in order to persuade him to join – and we don’t mind that at all. Alonso has been elevated to sporting director level!
Chelsea defender Levi Colwill has been linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid this summer after returning to full fitness. It could be a long summer of rumours around Chelsea!
