Scouts from Chelsea were in attendance for the 1-1 draw between Venezia and Hellas Verona in Serie A on Monday night in order to watch Gialloblu midfielder Reda Belahyane up close, as the Premier League side continue to negotiate over a potential €15m transfer fee.
According to reports in Italy over the last week, Chelsea are interested in securing a deal with Verona for Belahyane as Italy youngster Cesare Casadei nears a return to his homeland.
Casadei has been in talks with both Lazio and Torino over a potential move to Serie A after a two-year spell away in West London with the Blues.

As Casadei nears a move away from Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are reportedly looking to sign another promising young midfielder to replace him.
According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea and Verona continue to negotiate over a fee in the region of €15m for Belahyane, who moved to Italy in a deal worth around €500,000 from Nice in the summer transfer window.
