Aleksandar Pavlović is highly unlikely to sign for Chelsea in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Bayern midfielder is wedded to the idea of spending his entire playing career in Munich.

The German’s current terms are set to expire in the summer of 2029.

Chelsea have no chance with Aleksandar Pavlović

Pavlović, unfortunately for Liam Rosenior’s outfit, is very much enjoying life in Bavaria.

And who could blame the 21-year-old, given the incredible performances being delivered week in, week out under Vincent Kompany?

“It is NOT TRUE that Chelsea are set to approach Bayern over Aleksandar Pavlović. He’s feeling very well at Bayern Munich,” Falk exclusively informed CF Bayern Insider.

“It’s worth pointing out that Pavlović’s agent is Dieter Hoeneß, a former Bayern player and the younger brother of Uli Hoeneß (and I think everyone knows who this is! He’s the godfather at Bayern Munich). So, if there were any hint of interest in Pavlović, he would be the first to hear it and would say no.

“Don’t forget that the midfielder has been a Bayern player since he was in the academy. Aleksandar Pavlović recently told the media that his dream would be to play out his whole career at Bayern Munich. Not exactly a come-and-get-me plea to the Premier League!”

The midfielder has hardly been short of minutes with FC Bayern in the 2025/26 campaign – particularly in the latter half of the season.

What do the stats say about Pavlović at Bayern?

Aleksandar Pavlović is currently averaging a 7.24 rating in the Bundesliga this term, according to Fotmob. That puts him just inside the top 11 performing players at Bayern Munich in the German top-flight this term.

The German star is remarkably comfortable on the ball, rarely misplacing a pass or finding himself dispossessed at the hands of an opposition press.

Albeit, this comfort on the ball perhaps comes at a cost. Pavlović is not the strongest dribbler, nor is he a particularly creative presence in the middle of the park.

Though that’s not to say he’s an unnecessary presence in midfield – far from it when there’s so much creativity and risk-taking elsewhere across the pitch.

It certainly goes some way to explaining recent reports linking Aleksandar Pavlović with the Premier League.
