Chelsea’s collapsing season is showing up in the numbers.
A look at the WhoScored top 40 players in the Premier League sorted by average rating shows that there are now just two Blues in there – Joao Pedro at 18th and Trevoh Chalobah at 39th.
Back in November there were 3 Blues in the top 20, with Moises Caicedo having dropped from 6th back then to 66th now. It’s a huge fall for the Ecuador star, whose form has declined severely in the past few months, and for Chelsea in general.

Chelsea are risking fall into the “Ten Hag Trap” if they keep Liam Rosenior into next season, some writers have warned.
Barcelona have been operating on a fraction of Chelsea’s transfer spend in the last few years – they they’ve got more attacking options than the Blues.
