Chelsea are reportedly ready to sell Renato Veiga for €30m in the summer, but Juventus would prefer a new loan deal with an option or obligation to buy in 2026.

Calciomercato.com reports Chelsea have set a €30m asking price on their defender Renato Veiga, who joined Juventus on loan in the January transfer window.

The Portuguese defender has put in convincing performances as a centre-back under Thiago Motta and according to the report, the Bianconeri are willing to extend his temporary stay to June 2026.

On the other hand, Chelsea are open to discussing a permanent €30m transfer and negotiations between the two clubs are expected to begin in the coming weeks.

Veiga has moved to Juventus on a dry loan deal, which means the Bianconeri do not have an option for a permanent move at the end of the season.

Tuttosport previously reported that Feyenoord’s David Hancko was the Bianconeri’s priority defence target for the summer, but Veiga was a natural option in case they didn’t reach an agreement with the Dutch club.

It remains to be seen whether Enzo Maresca would agree to sell Veiga, but according to Calciomercato.com, competition for a starting spot in defence at Stamford Bridge has convinced Chelsea to listen to offers worth at least €30m.

Veiga has started four Serie A games for Juventus this season, three in Serie A and one in the UEFA Champions League.

He had scored two goals and provided one assist in 18 appearances with Chelsea this season before joining Juventus.
