Chelsea beat Swedish side Djurgardens to book their place in the Europa Conference League final, where they will face Real Betis.
The Blues finished the job they started, claiming a 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge to secure a 5-1 victory on aggregate.
Betis scraped through by the skin of their teeth. They held a 2-1 lead from the first leg in Spain, but Fiorentina gave them a run for their money in Florence.
In-form Antony gave Betis the lead via a gorgeous free-kick, and it looked like they would coast to the win. However, Robin Gosens bagged a quick brace to send the game into extra time.
Antony turned provider in the dying minute, picking out Abde Ezzalzouli as Betis made it 2-2 to restore their aggregate lead.
Betis secured their place in a European final for the first time and will want to give an excellent account of themselves.
Chelsea must watch out for Antony in Wroclaw, Poland, on May 28. He has bagged eight goals and five assists since his move to Betis in January.
Isco is another player Chelsea must keep an eye on. He cut a defiant figure, reiterating how they don’t fear Chelsea after beating Barcelona and Real Madrid this season.
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca will be well aware of the danger Betis pose. After all, Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini is his ‘football father’.
Maresca won’t be well received by the Andalusian club after playing for rivals Sevilla.
However, Chelsea have all the tools and will back themselves to overcome Betis in Poland later this month.
