Chelsea’s new pre-match shirt from Nike quite literally looks like something that has dropped from outer space in leaked images.
The news comes off the back of Chelsea getting an essential three points on Saturday afternoon by beating Everton 1-0 at home after a fantastic first half goal from striker Nicolas Jackson ending his 2025 goal draught.
It was far from an easy game for Chelsea though, and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez became the unlikely hero and was actually the reason that they could see the win out and collect all three points, making some big second half saves to deny certain goals.
Another one of Chelsea’s best players on the pitch was defender Trevoh Chalobah and really, he was a strong candidate for man of the match too. Enzo Maresca defended Chelsea’s decision to let him go on loan in the summer after then recalling him in the winter.
Meanwhile, Footy Headlines have just put out an image of what they are reporting to be Chelsea’s pre-match shirt for next season, as seen further below.
As you can see, it looks like it’s full of shooting stars from outer space and has a very intergalactic feel about it.
Can’t say that it is my cup of tea, but maybe it is someones. Maybe it looks better on and in the flesh like they often do, But I can safely say for this one at least, my wallet will be staying firmly inside my pocket!
It will apparently be worn for the Club World Cup games this summer.
Footy Headlines say:
‘The Nike Chelsea 2025 pre-Match shirt brings a futuristic and electrifying aesthetic. It features a black base with a striking all-over print of golden energy beams and star-like patterns, creating a dynamic, space-inspired look.
‘The Nike Swoosh and Chelsea’s famous lion crest appear in a light gold color, perfectly complementing the bold graphical design.
‘On the back, the energetic pattern continues seamlessly, ensuring the design is just as impressive from behind.’
