According to one chief scout this week, Chelsea do not see one of their players as part of their long-term plans.
They have made their minds up apparently, and a final decision has been made. The player will be leaving the club.
Chelsea got up to a lot of business over the summer transfer window with a load of outgoing deals being the main focus. They of course also made some new signings as well with a number of new players arriving at the club.
It will always be busy in a transfer window at Chelsea, and we are expecting a couple of busy ones coming up too. I’m not sure we will see too much action in the January transfer window this winter, but I do foresee a number of situations happening at the end of the season next summer.
Chelsea have some stories that still need concluding, one of which is striker Nicolas Jackson. He is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, but it’s been unclear really as to whether they will sign him on a permanent deal when that loan is up or not.

Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown tells Football Insider on Nicolas Jackson:
“They [Chelsea] have made up their minds, they don’t see him as part of their long-term plans, so if they can get rid of him for decent money they will do.
“Even if he doesn’t trigger that obligation to buy, I’m sure they’ll hold talks about doing a deal outside of that fee as long as it suits both clubs.”
It’s clear that Jackson does not want to come back just as much as Chelsea want him out. The feelings are mutual and the story will hopefully end amicable.
