Once again, Chivas Femenil proved that it is a solid contender for the title, mounting a comeback to defeat Pumas 4-3 on Matchday 14 of the Apertura 2025 this afternoon at Akron Stadium. Antonio Contreras' team now has 29 points and sits in fourth place overall. With its characteristic flair, the Rebaño took on its role as host, setting the pace against the university team, which had come to defend at the Rojiblanca Fortress. Although Chiverío created the clearest chances, especially from set pieces, the visitors scored on two isolated plays, which allowed them to take the lead at halftime. However, the team's pride and the support of the Rojiblanca Nation weighed heavily on the AKRON, propelling Guadalajara to equalize the score in the first third of the second half. Even though they conceded a third goal, Antonio Contreras's team rallied and pushed for the win. Their persistence paid off in the last breath of added time, with another goal from "The Predator" Alicia Cervantes.Chivas Femenil will play at home again on week 15 of the AP25, hosting Puebla on Sunday, October 12, at AKRON Stadium at 11 a.m.The Goals- In the 31st minute, Angelina Hix beat Blanca Félix from outside the box to open the scoring.- In the 45'+3rd minute, Hix scored again, this time with a header.- Denise Castro pulled one back in the 65th minute with a solid header from a cross by 'Gaby' Valenzuela.- The equalizer came almost immediately!
