Chivas Femenil to play El Clasico de Mexico in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California.- The biggest rivalry in Mexican football will write an unprecedented chapter in its history, as this May 17 the first edition of the Clasico de Mexico Femenil will be played in the United States at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
Nelly Simón, Sports Director of Chivas Femenil, and Claudia Carrión, Sports Director of América, were in charge of making the official announcement on Monday at the home of LAFC and Angel City, the venue that will host the match between the Rebaño and the Águilas.
Also present at the event were Chivas and America players Jaqueline Rodriguez and Jocelyn Orejel, as well as two-time FIFA World Cup Champion and LAFC and Angel City FC co-owner Mia Hamm.
The Liga MX Femenil has grown exponentially and the rivalry between Guadalajara and America knows no gender or borders, so this match promises to be an unforgettable experience for all fans in Southern California.
