Chivas Femenil U-19 continues to build momentum at the start of the Apertura 2026. Cecilia Cabrera’s side played its first away match of the tournament on Saturday, traveling to the Centro de Iniciación Xoloitzcuintle, where it claimed a 2-0 victory over Xolos Femenil in a Matchday 3 showdown.

The Rojiblancas grew into the game and found their breakthrough in the 35th minute, when Yessenia Guzmán opened the scoring. With the lead in hand, Guadalajara controlled possession and kept the home side from creating dangerous opportunities before halftime.

After the break, Chivas maintained its dominance and María Pérez doubled the advantage in the 73rd minute, putting the match out of reach and securing the team’s second consecutive victory of the Apertura 2026.

With the result, Chivas Femenil U-19 moved up to six points and will look to keep its winning form next Saturday when it hosts Santos at Sports Arena on Matchday 4 of the tournament.
