Chloe Kelly on her future: ''Let's see what happens.'' | OneFootball

Chloe Kelly has insisted her focus is with the Lionesses ahead of EURO 2025 despite being in talks with Arsenal.

The England international spent the second half of the season on loan at the Gunners where she played 13 games, scoring twice and assisting five times while also helping her side lift the Champions League.

That loan spell was Kelly's second time at Arsenal having initially come through the academy there before moving on to Everton and later Manchester City who she will leave on a free.

"To be honest, I’m just allowing my representatives to do the work behind the scenes," Kelly said about the speculation of her future and her time with Arsenal.

"My focus is solely on England. They took me from a really dark place and gave me an opportunity but we achieved incredible things together, so let’s see what happens."

The North London club have a period of exclusivity to talk to Kelly with a three-year deal currently being discussed. However, if talks should fall through then the 27-year-old will have plenty of alternatives with Chelsea and Manchester United, who tried to sign the forward back in January, still strongly interested.

That seems unlikely though with Kelly also praising Arsenal coach Renée Slegers: “I feel like I’ve grown so much from being at Arsenal. Every day I was learning from a great manager in Renée.

"I learned so much on the pitch and off the pitch from her. She’s a great person and to come away with a Champions League is incredible. She gave me belief and confidence and I will always be grateful for her.”
