City discover Women's League Cup group stage opponents | OneFootball

City will play Everton, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest in Group A of the 2025/26 Women's League Cup.

Andree Jeglertz's side will face all three teams between September and November, with exact dates and times for the matches to be confirmed shortly.

The draw was conducted on BBC Radio 5Live on Thursday morning and was regionalised - meaning City will only face northern clubs at this stage of the competition.

Only the top side in the group of four will progress to the quarter-finals, where the five group winners will be joined by the three clubs competing in this season's Champions League.

Should Manchester United not qualify for the group stage of the Champions League, they will be added into one of the two northern groups to make a group of five from which the top two will advance.

We're seeking our fifth League Cup title, having previously lifted the trophy in 2014, 2016, 2019 and 2022.

Last season's run took us all the way to the final at Derby County's Pride Park where we were edged out by Chelsea.
