The Blues, who go into the new season as Barclays Women’s Super League champions and FA Cup holders, will take on our Italian opponents at Rocco B. Commisso Viola Park, with kick-off set for 18:00 (UK).

Tickets will be available next week on Fiorentina’s website, so keep across mancity.com, the official Man City app and our social media channels for full confirmation.

You can also grab your ticket on the day at the stadium, though please note Viola Park is a cashless venue, so only electronic payments will be accepted.

Fiorentina finished fourth in the Italian top flight in 2025/26, narrowly missing out on UEFA Champions League qualification.

The most recent meeting between the two sides took place in 2021 when we locked horns in a two-legged Champions League Round of 16 tie, with City progressing 8-0 aggregate.

Speaking about the friendly, Director of Football Therese Sjogran said: “We’re excited to test ourselves against Fiorentina and would like to thank them for their support in organising and hosting us for this friendly.

“Last season was the most successful in our professional history, but we want to build on it ahead of our return to European football next season. Facing a team from a different country in a testing environment is great preparation for that.

“It will also be useful in showing us where we are in terms of our sharpness one month before the new season officially gets under way.”
