Last time out

Despite a resilient performance, we bowed out of the FA Cup following a 2-0 defeat against Manchester United.

First half goals from Celine Bizet’s and Grace Clinton saw the hosts in a comfortable position by the break.

We battled until the end, but couldn't find a way through and we can be proud of our Cup journey, despite a lengthy injury list.

Previous meeting

We travelled to Merseyside in a committed effort as we fell to a 2-1 defeat at Walton Hall Park.

Following first-half strikes from Lucy Hope and Honoka Hayashi, a confident Everton side continued to test the City defence.

We gave everything in the second 45 and the introduction of Lily Murphy caused the game to turn in our favour.

The youngster caused problems on the wing and almost snagged an assist after her ball across the face of goal was almost tapped home by Jill Roord.

Despite a tough battle, we found a way back after a late City penalty turned in by Mary Fowler, but it could only halve the deficit.
