The Scout’s verdict is in for ahead of Gameweek 4 of Fantasy Premier League as City lock horns with Manchester United.
Pep Guardiola’s side face our cross-city rivals for the first time in 2025/26 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday 14 September, with kick-off scheduled for 16:30 (UK).
It also represents our first match since the conclusion of the international break as we vie for three points and bragging rights.
Of course, we aren’t the only team in action this weekend as the Premier League returns and FPL managers will be aiming to maximise their points return ahead of Saturday 13 September’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.
With that in mind, read the Scout’s latest report ahead of the latest round of top-flight games.
Oscar Bobb (£5.5m) could be a shrewd differential in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) ahead of the home Manchester derby in Gameweek 4.
The midfielder has started all three of City’s matches so far this season, producing 10 points, making him our second-highest FPL points scoring midfielder after Tijjani Reijnders (£5.7m).
No City player has produced more take-ons (13) or had more penalty area touches (18) than Bobb. The Norwegian has also created four chances this term (including one assist) – no team-mate has created more.
Opponents United have not kept a clean sheet in their last eight matches and have conceded 30 crosses from the left which Bobb can exploit.
Bruno Fernandes (£9.0m) has been Manchester United’s most productive players so far this season creating more chances (12) than any other player to date.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth’s David Brooks (£5.0m) and Everton’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£5.0m) are low-owned gems who have the potential to return big in Gameweek 4.
Brooks has carved out more big chances (four) than any other midfielder, meanwhile only three midfielders in the game have had more than his nine shots.
Dewsbury-Hall has delivered more crosses (11) than any team-mate and is on corners and free-kicks.
