It's that time of year where Fantasy Premier League managers tinker with their teams ahead of the first English topflight weekend in 2026/27.
Ahead of the Gameweek 1 deadline at 18:30 (UK) on Friday 21 August FPL managers can make unlimited changes to their teams.
While there will undoubtedly still be a lot of FPL transfers made, here are the three most popular City players in the game so far...
Haaland scored 239 FPL points last season - more than any other player in the game.
He was also top for attacking returns with 35. The forward has subsequently been rewarded by being priced as the most expensive FPL player ever at £15.5m.
This price tag hasn’t put managers off with 75.2% of them selecting the forward in their early drafts.

Guehi registered 179 points last season, with only one defender in the game outscoring him.
The England international registered 14 clean sheets, three goals, five assists, 22 defensive contribution points, as well as 14 bonus points last season.
Guehi is currently owned by 24.7% of FPL managers ahead of the new season.
The 2025/26 season was a breakthrough year for O’Reilly in FPL. The defender scored five goals, returned four assists and registered 14 clean sheets on his way to 160 fantasy points for the season.
This was 129 more than during the 2024/25 season. As a result, he has taken a price rise to £6.5m for the new season. So far he is found in 24% of teams.
