Jules Koundé has just revealed the message he sent to Kylian Mbappé just hours before the kickoff of the Clasico.

FC Barcelona travel this Sunday to face Real Madrid for the first Clasico of the season. Jules Koundé is expecting a "very good match" and hopes that his French national teammate, Kylian Mbappé, won’t be in top form.

"Of course, we talked about the match with Kylian. We teased each other a little bit (smiles). They’re waiting for us, especially since we won all the Clasicos last season. It promises to be a really great game. As for him, he’s in fantastic form. I told him to save some energy for the French national team and for the World Cup in June, but honestly, it’s great to see him playing at this level again," the French defender told Téléfoot in an interview.
