Club América’s window has been subdued, with three signings and only one earmarked to start. According to Americayya.net, André Jardine has said a final addition is close, but a foreign slot must be cleared first, and talk of Bruno Zapelli or a Julián Quiñones return is not accurate.

Of the newcomers, Rodrigo Dourado has seen minutes. Aarón Mejía has stayed on the bench, and Fernando Tapia has not been called up.

The club are keeping negotiations under wraps, in keeping with previous low profile deals. Arrivals such as Javairo Dilrosun, Víctor Dávila and Allan Saint-Maximin only became public on presentation day.

A similar reveal is expected this time, but first an unwanted foreigner would need to depart. That appears to be Víctor Dávila.

The intention is to finalise matters this week, so the new signing could join from the weekend and get work in with the squad before the next Liga MX match.
