It will be a long build-up, with Apertura 2026 scheduled to start on 17 July. That leaves a little over a month of work and friendlies.

There is no confirmed pre-season itinerary yet. However, there are rumours that new head coach Guillermo Almada has asked for matches in Europe, specifically in Spain.

For now, the expectation is a couple of weeks of work at Coapa, then pre-season games.
