Cole Palmer has been named in the latest FIFPro World 11 – and is backing his Chelsea team-mate Estevao to do the same in the future.
Palmer played 52 times in all competitions for the Blues last season, recording 32 combined goals and assists.
Among those also included are Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk and and England and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, while Lamine Yamal becomes the youngest player to ever make it into the team.
“Being part of the FIFPRO World 11 is obviously a great honour and to be voted by the other players is a nice feeling,” said Palmer. “They know what it takes, obviously, to play the game at a high level, so to be voted by them is the best feeling.”
When asked who he thinks could make the World 11 in future, Palmer replied: “Estevao.
“I think he’s got all the ability in the world to go on and do great things. Hopefully he can do it here at Chelsea.”
