Collectif Ultras Paris will not be at full strength on Wednesday at Parc des Princes, with two groups absent for the Champions League play-off second leg against AS Monaco at 21:00.
According to L'Équipe, members of Parias Cohortis (CP) and Urban Paris (UP) have been asked by the CUP not to join the Virage Auteuil for the Monaco match, after clashes on Saturday night following the 3-0 win over Metz.
The two PSG ultra groups have been in conflict since the 2025 Champions League final. CP are allied with Celtic Glasgow ultras, some of whom were in Munich, while UP are close to AIK Stockholm. Such alliances can trigger disputes, leaving the Paris groups aligned with opposing sides.
PSG has framed the issue as isolated tensions rather than violence between supporter groups. Its messaging stresses vigilance over supporter safety and a commitment to a festive, calm atmosphere.
Even so, the club’s security department has requested explanations in recent days, notably at the pre-match safety meeting, and sought assurances that supporter-side measures will address the situation.
