Colón have continued their policy of promoting and protecting homegrown talent, with four academy players signing their first professional contracts. The club announced the deals.
Gian Piaggio, Máximo Johnston, Abel Galván and Laureano Páez have signed with the Santa Fe club.
Piaggio is a goalkeeper, Johnston and Galván are midfielders, and Páez is a forward.
The move aligns with the coaching staff and board's objective of ensuring continuity for their most promising youngsters at senior level. The contracts recognise the players' progress and help safeguard the club's assets amid external interest.
All four are working under club guidance as they aim to earn consideration for upcoming official competitions.
