L’Equipe claim that Serie A side Como have agreed terms with Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Maxence Caqueret for €17m including bonuses.
The player turns 25 next month and is a product of the Lyon youth academy, spending his entire career at the club.
That is about to change, because the French newspaper’s website is confident the two clubs have shaken hands on a deal.
They note that a lengthy and impassioned phone call with Como coach Cesc Fabregas was also decisive in ensuring Caqueret was open to the transfer to the newly-promoted Serie A side.

It is reported to be an agreement worth €15m plus another €2m in potential performance-related bonuses.
Footmercato also suggest the salary he earns at the Italian club will be around €350,000 per week.
He is not the only signing that Como might be making from Olympique Lyonnais, as they are also in advanced negotiations with former Roma midfielder Nemanja Matic.
