Como coach Cesc Fabregas feels that Inter Milan are one of the strongest teams in Europe – and maybe even the strongest.

The Lariani coach gave his thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A clash with the Nerazzurri in a press conference, as reported by FCInterNews.

Como take on Inter in Serie A tomorrow evening.

The Lariani have certainly shown this season that they are capable of getting a result against big sides.

Como have beaten both Atalanta and Roma. And even when they’ve failed to win, the Lombard side have typically put in an eye-catching performance.

However, Inter could be a different proposition.

The Nerazzurri are reigning champions of Italy. They are also among the favourites to win the Champions League.

Therefore, it’s inevitable that Como go into tomorrow’s match as big underdogs. Particularly considering the fact that they are travelling to the San Siro.

Como Coach Cesc Fabregas: “Inter Milan Maybe The Best Team In Europe”

And Como coach Fabregas is not under any illusions about the difficulty he and his players face tomorrow.

“Tomorrow’s match against Inter will be a dream,” the Spaniard said.

“We’re here, and we have to fight to play against a great team, maybe the strongest team in Europe.”

“Inter are certainly among the three strongest teams,” Fabregas argued.

Fabregas noted that Inter “have known each other for a long time now.”

“They know when to press, when to recover, and how to manage matches.”

But Fabregas made clear that “We prepare for every match with the mentality of wanting to take points.”

“For us tomorrow’s another opportunity,” the Como coach said. “And we know that we have to fight to play a great match.”

“Inter are a great team but we have to maintain our style of play,” Fabregas said. “We can’t play with fear.”

“If we shut up shop defensively, sooner or later they’ll score.”

“We’ll have to play a match that’s 70% defense and 30% attack,” Fabregas suggested.
