The possibility of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia leaving Napoli for Paris Saint-Germain is rising and Il Mattino today have provided a complete background about the situation.
The Naples outlet state that some days ago, the Georgian’s entourage sensed something fishy about the renewal on offer from Napoli. After that, the Partenopei were informed about interest from PSG and they were told that the French side were making a ‘super offer’.
After that, Aurelio de Laurentiis informed agent Mamuka Jugeli that €90 million will be needed for the sale. That price will also apply to the summer transfer window. The player’s entourage were shocked, as they initially believed that an offer of €45 million would be needed for the move.
The Partenopei’s demands were informed to PSG but in the meantime, an agreement over personal terms was reached. The player will sign a deal till the summer of 2029 and earn €8.5 million per season at the French club.
Despite that, the right offer hasn’t arrived for Napoli. De Laurentiis is in Los Angeles, waiting for someone to show up to sign the renewal for €5.5 million per season but no one from Kvara’s entourage has arrived. Even Antonio Conte is not refusing an exit and the manager believes that the Georgian has been gloomy in the last few weeks. He hasn’t looked like himself either.
PSG and Napoli haven’t spoken directly yet and are speaking through agents and the next few days will be very important in the move.
