Zamalek's group stage schedule in the Confederation Cup

Zamalek will compete in Group D following the draw for the group stage of the Confederation Cup, held on Monday, November 3 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Johannesburg.

The White Knights will face South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs, Zambia's Zesco United, and fellow Egyptians Al-Masry—arguably the group of death in this year's draw.

The Cairo giants have lifted the Confederation Cup twice, in 2019 and 2024, and are among the top favorites to claim the trophy again this year. Their pedigree is further bolstered by five CAF Champions League titles (1984, 1986, 1993, 1996, 2002) and five African Super Cups (1994, 1997, 2003, 2020, 2024).
