Dan Burn, Jacob Murphy and Joe Willock replace Kieran Trippier, Harvey Barnes and Sandro Tonali respectively for this afternoon's clash at Craven Cottage.

Murphy, who has recorded three goal involvements in his last three Premier League matches against Fulham, is set to feature at right-back in his 150th competitive start for his boyhood club.

Nick Pope, who has recorded 11 clean sheets in all competitions so far this season, continues in-between the sticks while Malick Thiaw and Sven Botman feature at the heart of United's backline.

Lewis Hall is likely to play at left-back while Burn, who was named in the England squad for this summer's FIFA World Cup finals on Friday, will face his former club following a five-year spell with the Cottagers.

Bruno Guimarães, who scored a late winner in October's 2-1 reverse league win against Fulham, captains the visitors in the capital and lines up alongside Joe Willock in the middle of the park, with Sandro Tonali initially handed a start in the latter's place before withdrawing during the warm-up.

Nick Woltemade, who scored his first Premier League goal of the calendar year in last weekend's 3-1 win against West Ham United, and Jacob Ramsey will aim to provide attacking support for Will Osula, with the in-form Dane scoring six goals in his last eight league outings.

Yoane Wissa, who netted his first Newcastle goal in December's Carabao Cup quarter-final victory against Fulham, is named on the bench as well as Joe Willock, Anthony Elanga and Anthony Gordon.

Sean Neave, who celebrates his 19th birthday on Wednesday, targets a Premier League debut for his boyhood club while Alex Murphy will be aiming for a first league appearance since January.

Aaron Ramsdale is the substitute goalkeeper.
