Dino Toppmöller's soaring RheinMainAdler seek to continue their fine form during a quick trip north to Denmark this evening. A victory over SV Werder Bremen in last Saturday evening's Bundesliga "Top-Spiel" lifted the Eagles up to second place in the Bundesliga table, in the process giving some German football fans hope that the SGE could challenge record champions Bayern München for the title this year.
Toppmöller makes X changes to the XI that lined up against Bremen. The midfield is refreshed with Mahmoud Dahoud and Hugo Larsson taking the starting slots of Mario Götze and Ellyes Skhiri. Tuta moves back into defense, where Niels Nkounkou will also take over for Nathaniel Brown at left-back. Algerian attacker Fares Chaibi - who has earned some criticism from Toppmöller recently - gets the nod over Ansgar Knauff.
It's possible that Nkounkou will start on the wing opposite Chaibi whilst Arthur Theate slides out to work at left-back. If such is the case, the SGE will line up in a 4-4-2 formation. A back-three seems less likely
Midtjylland (4-2-3-1):
E. Olafsson - Mbabu, Diao, Bech, Jensen - J. Andersson, Martinez - Andreasen, Sørsensen, Krüger-Johnsen - Buksa
Frankfurt (4-4-2):
Trapp - Collins, Tuta, R. Koch, Theate - Dahoud, Larsson - Chaibi, Nkouknkou - Ekitiké, Marmoush
