Confirmed: Real Madrid starting lineup against Fiorentina – Debut for new signing | OneFootball

Real Madrid are set to take on Serie A side Fiorentina in a little over an hour in a pre-season friendly match in Austria.

Having prevailed in training matches against Alcorcon and Leganes over the past couple of weeks, the team, led by new manager Jose Mourinho, are set for their first big test of the pre-season against the Viola.

Dumfries starts

With kickoff not far away, Mourinho has named the starting lineup that will take the field for Real Madrid against the Serie A outfit tonight.

And, as expected, summer signing Denzel Dumfries makes his unofficial debut for Los Blancos.

Signed from Inter Milan in a deal worth €20 million, the Dutch right-back became the first summer arrival to join pre-season after the World Cup. And he is named in the starting XI, albeit in an advanced role as a right-winger.

Indeed, Dumfries starts high up the right flank with Trent Alexander-Arnold getting the nod at right-back for Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, the rest of the attack features Arda Guler as the No. 10, and academy prospect Alexis Ciria on the left flank.

Endrick, who joined the pre-season only a couple of days ago, starts as the centre-forward, ahead of summer signing Carlos Espi, whose transfer was completed only on Thursday night.

Eduardo Camavinga and captain Federico Valverde line up as the two pivot midfielders, while an all-academy centre-back pairing of Mario Rivas and Joan Martinez shields Andriy Lunin in goal. Alvaro Carreras continues at left-back.
