Conor Coady given all-clear after being knocked out on 500th club appearance | OneFootball

Conor Coady was knocked out by a shot on his 500th career club appearance during Charlton’s 1-1 draw at Watford. The incident came in second-half stoppage time at Vicarage Road on Bank Holiday Monday.

Charlton said in a statement that the 33-year-old was stretchered off and taken to a local hospital, where scans gave him the all-clear and he was discharged that evening. The club added it will monitor him in line with the appropriate protocols and thanked Watford’s medical staff for their support.

Coady, who made more than 300 appearances for Wolves, joined Wrexham in the summer. With limited minutes he moved to Championship strugglers Charlton on loan in January.

He has since featured in a handful of games, with the Addicks pulling away from the Championship drop zone.

He later thanked medical staff for their assistance.
