Copa do Brasil clash moves Sereias v Juventude to two August morning slot | OneFootball

Santos' Sereias have had their Brasileiro Feminino A-1 match against Juventude rescheduled after a Copa do Brasil clash at Vila Belmiro. According to Diario Do Peixe, the fixture will now be played at the same venue.

The game had been set for one August at 18:00 at Vila Belmiro. The CBF then scheduled the men's Copa do Brasil round of 16 first leg for the same day at 21:00 at the stadium, with Santos facing Remo.

With NSports, the broadcast rights holder, agreeing, the federation moved the Sereias' match to two August at 11:00, keeping Vila Belmiro as the venue. Entry will be free.

The fixture comes in the final stretch of the first phase, with Marcelo Frigerio's side returning from a World Cup break in July. Five rounds remain, against América-MG, Juventude, Corinthians, Flamengo and Vitória. Only the top eight progress to the quarter-finals.

Santos are 12th on 14 points. A perfect run-in would take them to a maximum 29 points, while Internacional currently occupy eighth on 20. They would need a strong revival and other slip-ups to reach the knockout stage.

Alongside the Brasileiro, Santos continue in the Paulistão F, with Taubaté, Bragantino, São Paulo and Mirassol still to come in the first phase.
