Copa do Brasil draw on Monday, who Santos could face | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, the CBF will draw the fifth-phase ties of the Copa do Brasil on Monday at 14:00, at its Rio de Janeiro headquarters, with live coverage on CBF TV via YouTube.

Santos enter the competition at this stage, scheduled for 22 or 23 April, and will receive R$ two million for participating.

The 32 qualified clubs are split into two pots by the CBF club ranking. Santos are in Pot one and will meet an opponent from Pot two. All ties through to the semi-finals are two-legged.

Round of 16 first legs are set for the first or second of August, with returns on the fifth or eighth of August. Quarter-finals are due on 26 or 27 August, with second legs on two or three September. The semi-finals are slated for the first and eighth of November, and the final is planned for six December.

Last season, Santos entered in the third phase and went out to CRB on penalties. The club have won the Copa do Brasil once, in 2010, with Neymar.

From the round of 16, prize money is R$ three million, then R$ four million in the quarter-finals and R$ nine million in the semi-finals, rising to R$ 34 million for the runners-up and R$ 78 million for the winners.
