Copa Sudamericana playoffs set, dates and times confirmed for Brazilian quartet

Conmebol has released the dates and kick-off times for the Copa Sudamericana playoffs, which decide places in the round of 16. According to Globo.com, Santos, Vasco, Bragantino and Grêmio are in this phase, which begins the week after the World Cup finishes.
All four finished second in their groups and will face clubs dropping in from the Copa Libertadores after placing third. Each Brazilian side will host the second leg.
Tuesday 21 July, Universidad Central v Santos, Olímpico de la UCV, 21:30. Wednesday 22 July, Independiente Medellín v Vasco, Atanásio Girardot, 19:00, and Sporting Cristal v Bragantino, Nacional de Lima, 21:30. Thursday 23 July, Bolívar v Grêmio, Hernando Siles, 19:00.
Tuesday 28 July, Santos v Universidad Central, Vila Belmiro, 21:30. Wednesday 29 July, Vasco v Independiente Medellín, São Januário, 19:00, and Bragantino v Sporting Cristal, venue to be confirmed, 21:30. Thursday 30 July, Grêmio v Bolívar, Arena do Grêmio, 19:00.
Other first legs on 21 to 23 July include Nacional-URU v Tigre, Lanús v Cienciano, Santa Fe v Caracas and Boca Juniors v O'Higgins, with the returns on 28 to 30 July.
The competition schedule then lists the round of 16 on 11 to 13 August and 18 to 20 August, quarter-finals on 8 to 10 September and 15 to 17 September, semi-finals on 13 to 14 October and 20 to 21 October, and a single-match final on 21 November.
Prize money includes 300,000 dollars for the group stage, 125,000 dollars per group win, 500,000 dollars for the playoff round, 600,000 dollars for the round of 16, 700,000 dollars for the quarter-finals, 800,000 dollars for the semi-finals, 2.5 million dollars for the runners-up and 10 million dollars for the champions.
