Copa Sudamericana table after third round, Santos bottom of Group D | OneFootball

The third round of the 2026 Copa Sudamericana concluded on Thursday night. According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos remain bottom of Group D on two points after a 1-1 draw at San Lorenzo on Tuesday in Argentina.

San Lorenzo lead the group on five points following that draw. Deportivo Cuenca are second with four after drawing with Recoleta, who sit third on three.

Santos visit Recoleta next. The match is on 5 May at 21:30 at Estadio Río Parapiti in Pedro Juan Caballero, on the Brazil, Paraguay border. All tickets have been sold.

Under the competition rules, only each group winner advances directly to the round of 16. Runners-up enter a playoff against one of the Copa Libertadores group stage third-placed teams.

No club has a 100 per cent record so far. Among Brazilian sides, Atlético-MG are fourth in Group B with three points, São Paulo top Group C with seven and Botafogo lead Group E with seven.

Grêmio are second in Group F on four points. Vasco lead Group G with four, and Red Bull Bragantino are third in Group H with three.
